Poem76: Hush Now

"Hush now"
the angel whispers
a calmness spreads
and all is serene

The valley is green
and I can hear water,
a stream,
in the distance.
Butterflies,
pink and yellow,
swirl about my head
and the angel extends his hand.
I reach out to take it. . .

And wake,
in a cold, cold room
an my stone bed,

and i cry.
