Poem51: Starlight Dreams
I had a dreaming
we were one
And now I wish to see
If through prayer
or fervent hope
A dream can cause to be.
Starbright starlight
in your hair
And stardust in your eyes.
I want to see
under the skin
Beneath the star's disguise.
Does bueaty echo
deep within
As it does without.
Or is my dream
a truer thing
And bueaty merely doubt.
we were one
And now I wish to see
If through prayer
or fervent hope
A dream can cause to be.
Starbright starlight
in your hair
And stardust in your eyes.
I want to see
under the skin
Beneath the star's disguise.
Does bueaty echo
deep within
As it does without.
Or is my dream
a truer thing
And bueaty merely doubt.

Wow! This is just gorgeous! I'm really glad I "found" your blog. I love poetry. But I must say damn you! Now that I've read this poem, I'm gonna have to set aside time to read them all! There may be some that I link in my blog, if that's okay with you? I'll always be sure to let my readers know it's yours. I think great talent deserves great credit. . .
